ok, now to the hate:

1st: Can't use dash or console to control IPOD when connected with AV cables. Should've bought with premium package, but it's so expensive.

2nd: Rear seats don't fold down. C'mon, the new Accord sedan does.

3rd: Glove compartment way too small.

4th: Doors are definately on the heavy side.

5th: Is it me, or does my in-cabin fan and ventilation system have a mind of its own?

But yeah, I LOVE MY CAR.

your rear seats dont fold down? nice do and i have a 2005. Do you have a sedan? because im talking about the coupe.
anyway...I hate my quiet engine. the exhaust sounds nice but the engine itself is quieter than my 08 sedan. ill probably end up getting an intake-most likely fujita-to compensate for how quiet it is at high revs.

Sedan rear seats don't fold down. You get a small pass through, but not much fits through it.

The rear seats do recline though. It's pretty cool to be headed out on a long highway drive and point that out to my friends. They recline them back and say "holy crap! This is nice!"

I went to the Infiniti dealer and checked out the new G35 but the interior felt cheap and ghey.. the leather quality is poor too, and cheap heavy duty plastics on the dash and door panels. So I got the Lexus IS350. It's got top notch interior quality and overall build quality.

Lol I'd get a infiniti over any lexus I'm sorry after test driving the IS-F I was not impressed. It's a nice car and all but I'd prefer a G37S =D

PS: I test drove that too. Lots of Fun . I love my G!!

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

I love most everything about my sedan, but there are a few things I just shake my head at:

1. What is up with the sun visors? They look and feel like they belong on a f***ing Yugo. Are there replacements available that actually look like they belong on a G? (and work as well)

2. The Bose stereo is way inferior to the Bose I had on my 01 Maxima. The CD player sounds OK, but the radio BLOWS. We should have better audio in a car of this class. I must admit I like the built in XM capability. No more Sirius receiver hanging from my windshield, just the Passport .

3. As discussed ad nauseum, the rattle issue. I appreciate how many threads there are on here to address fixing the various rattles. I have them in both rear doors, but it looks like the fix might be as easy as some felt. Who knew?

That being said, this car is worth every penny and more that I paid for it. Great handling, good power, and drop-dead sexy looks make me a very happy boy. I paid $15,500 for her: 05 Lakeshore Sedan Sport 5AT with 46,000 miles and every option available but nav. Driving in and around the ATX has never been more fun.

Peace.

I went to lexus and test drove an IS350, after looking past the outdated interior design (especially the dash) I decided to focus on the driving. Well after about five minutes of nodding off I finally fell asleep (while turning) which led to the front bumper kissing a tree. After fleeing the scene and leaving the totaled toyota on the side of the road, I took a trip to Infiniti. There I test drove a G35 which had a nicer interior and exterior. I also realized what it felt like to actually DRIVE a car, not just float around.

That my wife has picnics in the beautiful car with our daughter while I am stuck driving a 10 year old car. Luckily if the car breaks down I will have left overs to snack on.

The only thing I hate about the car is the random feature on the CD player. Plays the same tracks over and over again on my mp3 cd and does not allow you to return to the previous song if you have already skipped it.

Other than that the car is perfect....

I hate that on the weekends, if my wife gets out the door first (door crasher specials, ugghhh) she takes the G. Funny how much faster she gets out the door compared to weekdays, hmmmm.
