I do not know the author.Edmunds were asking for volunteers to share their experiences about new car buying, I just emailed them with my contact info. I didnt think anything would come of it, but then I got a call from US News saying Edmunds had passed on my info to them and they interviewed me on the phone.
Very nice article. I really like how they presented the hard facts of hybrids in that the cost of ownership is way higher than a normal small engine car. When shopping for my G35 last summer, I got the impression some dealers did not like the internet shoppers. I don't see why, it's such a great tool for matching buyer and seller.
