If you have an aftermarket Cold Air Intake it is possible to reinstall the Mass Air Flow Sensor backwards. The rasied triangle near one of the ends should be facing towards the back of the car / direction of airflow.

That or the spacer has a leak in one of the seals. Check in the front drivers side of the spacer. Is it hitting the large mounting bracket for the wire loom?

It is also possible the the rubber collar around the Oil Cap might be caught between as well.

Those are my 3 guesses . . .

Good luck!

If you got it from gruppe-s.com its not 5/16" spacer unless sombody is copying my design. If they are, they will hear from my patent attorney.

You are probably thinking of the 5/8" plastic spacer from Skunk2. gruppe-s.com sells them.
