I would also like to know if this can be done.

As far as conversion formula, here it is

T_celsius = (T_fahrenheit - 32)*5/9

[a rough approximation suitable for quick-in-the-head calculation would be T_celsius=(T_fahrenheis - 32)/2 ]

I am doing the conversion in my head though it is not the most elegant solution ...

Fahrenheit = ((9/5) * Celsius) + 32

Google is your friend. Just go to google and type "XXf to c" where XX is your temperature.

example:

50f to c

then hit enter and voila!

I don't think it is a setting that a dealer can/will change for you.

This has been discussed before, but I don't recall if a conclusion was reached.

According to the Factory Service Manual, there is a wire connecting to the "Display and A/C Auto Amp." that sets this. It is labeled pin 14 in connector M31. If you ground that wire, it may change your display so that it displays in Celcius. Then again, there may be other things that have to change as well.

Note: This is from my 2004.5 service manual (may be different for your car), and I haven't done this -- I don't know if it will work.

go to google
put this (100f in c) in the search box and press enter

Google is not only a search engine, but a calculator/converter as well.

uhhh guys, i really dont think he is asking for the actual paper conversion from farenheit to celsius....

i think he is trying to ask how to convert the farenheight reading in the car to celsius... so it shows celsius...

shoot me if there isnt even a Farenheit/temperature reading in the G's, I am still learning alot about the car
