Obviously, replacing the fluids, belts, and filters is good.
Climate control seat filters?!?!?! What is that?

I thought those were platinum-tipped and didn't need replacing until 100K?
And why do you need to replace your radiator cap?
If they do replace the cap, make sure it says "Nismo"

Check the tire pressures yourself. Changing the incabin and air filters is ridiculously easy. This alone will probably save you $100.

I haven't had a 30K service as yet but according to a price guide I have from the dealer it should be $339 and include

oil and Filter change

Check Fluid levels

Multi-paint inspection

Inspect exhaust system

inspect steering gear linkage

inspect axel and Suspension

Rotate tires*

inspect brakes

inspect Battery

replace air filter

inspect and clean cabin mircofilter

inspect drive shaft boots

inspect vacuum hoses

Drain and refill trans oil 4 qt

coolant should be changed at 60K not 30k

What's the point of checking idle speed? It's computer controlled... At least they didn't put lubricate antenna mast.

From what I remember, the following are NOT part of a typical 30k service:

Replace Auto Tranny oil
repalce differential oil
replace coolant with flush
replace engine drive belts
replace manual tranny fluid
replace radiator cap
replace spark plugs

The only one I'd do would be the coolant flush if it had been over 2 years. The rest are ADP (additional dealer profit).

A word of advice:

If you pick and choose which services to have them perform, you better make sure the overall price is cheaper than this total 30K service list. Common sense would suggest that it would be cheaper, but the reality may differ. Better safe than sorry. Check with the service manager on the individual cost of only the service items you want done.

No, when they say "replace", they mean they will screw it back on for you AFTER putting the fluid in...weak huh...

So when they close the door, are they "replacing" the door?

In that case, they'll be "replacing" the hood, the engine cover, the doors, your dipsticks, the caps to all your fluids and all your screws. That's DEFINITELY worth $600! Go for it!

Make sure to check the Infiniti Owners Manual and see what the official 30k service requires. A lot of the service may be added by the dealer as 'recommended services' and are not needed!

I heard it's a good idea to do the differential service. I question spark plugs and drive belts though.

Do the incabin filter yourself. You can get an aftermarket air filter for like $10, Purolator I think.
