Hi everybody, it's my first post here....

For those who have or are familiar with the 2006 Gs with bluetooth option, do you know if there's a way to make it so we see the Caller ID on the stereo system rather than "TELEPHONE"? I know BMWs and Acuras show the caller ID when their getting an incomming call but Infinitis don't.

Is it because of my phone, I have a Motorola V505?

nope, i don't think is possible. i wish that it would do that too. for now i'm thinking about getting a cell phone holder that will clip on to the vent just to the right of the steering wheel so i can see incoming calls.

Still better than the mercedes solution. They charge you a grand, slap a 149 motorola bt car kit in yer benz(cheapest model moto offers), and none of the dedicated phone buttons on yer wheel/navi work with it.
Agree lack of caller id is worst feature in the inf bt, but i its still my favorite feature in the car. Since the ringer on the phone stays active on my phone, im thinking of programming in some caller id ringtones to some ppl i need advance warnings from, ie mom, boss, etc.

 

That's not a bad idea either.
