Front license plate?

Front plates are required here in TX, and I told the dealer not to even think about installing the front plate when I got my car and my plates came in. He said he wouldn't dream of it

Apparently here in California it's legal to not put your plates on for 9 months... so I'll be avoiding a no-front-plate ticket for at least that long.
