Europen DVD nav maps in an Infiniti?

I'm stationed in Germany and I just purchased a use 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT. I was told that I could use the European 350Z navigation maps in my G35, except I can't select a country other than the US or Canada. Is it possible for me to get the GPS navigation software to work in Germany?

For anyone who might look for this information later on I found the answer directly from the company who makes the navigational maps for Nissan. They said that unfortunately there is no easy or inexpensive way for the American navigational hardware to read the European map software. And the nav equipment installed in my Infiniti interferes with secondary handheld GPS systems (such as Tom Tom) so I'm SOL. I guess I'll just have to use regular old maps. They are still effective, but are not as easy to use while driving.

I tried to use our portable nav unit in my G and it won't pick up any GPS satellites. It works fine in my wife's A4.
