Who could help me check out my brakes in KC.? I havent noticed any problems but really dont want the dealer to get his hooks into it

 

Infiniti will charge you $35 to inspect the brakes. It's very easy to check them yourself. Simplyt remove the wheel and look through the caliper port to see the thickness of the pads. As for the rotors, buy a cheap $20 1" micrometer and measure the thickness. A new rotor has a thickness of 0.945" and the wear limit is 0.866". I'm in Kansas City, but my schedule is crazy and I don't when I'd be available due to travel. I can send you a 1.7mb copy of the brake service portion of the FSM.
