regarding pumpkin swaps: gear ratio education

so it has to do with gear ratios... but i am still clueless to why people swap these things out.

1. is the final drive gear included with the LSD pumpkin?
2. is the LSD upgraded to a newer "VSLD"?

right now i am quite discontent with the higher rpm ratio with higher speed. i am looking for a final drive that can decrease the rpm during high speed roaming. with this in mind, i guess i should be looking for a 'taller gear'. are there any options for my application?

thank you in advance.

If you have a manual you could put the AT gear set in. You're going to accelerate slower though. Changing just the 6th gear is very expensive. If you have an AT I'm pretty sure you are outta luck, but I've gotten 28mpg in my 6mt all highway before so the fuel consumption is probably do to acceleration habits more than your rpm's at crusing speed.
