6MT: What kinda tranny fluid do you use?

i switched to redline a few months back hoping that it would improve cold winter starts when going to work. but i see absolutely no difference between this winter and the last. stick with nissan grade... i don't think anything else is going to improve anything... and then u have the added fright of something possibly going wrong.
I put this http://www.redlineoil.com/products_g...61&subcatID=20 in my FJR1300 and K1200LTC rear drives. Nice and smooth and quiet. After 5000 miles checked the magnetic plug. Nada, nothing, zippo. Virtually no evidence of metal/metal contact. This is for the diff only. For the tranny, you should use the MTL since it is more suited for the synchro engagement.

Im trying to figure out what to put in too. Im about to do an oil change, tranny fluid, and if I go wit SS brake lines brake fluid change. But I was wondering the same thing, whats the best tranny fluid? Also how many quarts does our car take?

Yes. Light Shockproof (70W/80) in the diff. and MTL in the trans. Great protection and lighter viscosity for improved power transfer and mileage. You could use the MT-90, it is just thicker. If you live in the inferno of the Southwest, MT-90 might be a better choice.
