Amsoil - Engine Air Intake Filter
Hey folks,
For the past week, I have been reading many posts throughout the forum about the Amsoil Engine Air Intake Filter. For those people that have installed and currently in their G35, how is it?
I want to change the engine air filter myself which would be the Amsoil Filter EaA74 right?
2005 G35 Sedan here.
Thanks!

Do you feel it is better than OEM?
Thanks!

What do you think? It shows that Amsoil is no good at filtering compared to its competitors.
Comments? Post here and now!

Based on another filter survey, supposedly Apex'i filters are the best (with the best filtration as well).
Unfortunatly you have to modify the MAF to use it
Just do what everybody else does, buy a K&N

I bought a K&N and loved it. I switched to Amsoil recently due to ease of maintenance (no re-oiling and less frequent cleaning). I love it, it helps add a nice sound to the intake. Performance is not noticable at all. The study in the link shown above seems to be testing a different kind of Amsoil filter, a TS version. The EA version is newer and uses nanofibers as filters, which are suposedly much better. There is data and info about it on their website.
