Anyone Had 05 X Brakes Replaced Under Warranty??

My Dealer Says They Wont Do It For Me. Only 03's And 04's, But My Car Has 9500 Miles And The Brakes Have 30% Life Left. Anyone Have An Experience Where The Dealership Will Fix The 05's That Have The Problem With The Brakes???

My Dealership Is Kings Infiniti But I Live In Queens So The Nassau Dealership Can Work For Me!

Will U G-squad Guys Do Anything For Me Over At Atlantic, Rucker (vision)? Can You Help? Anyone Have Some Pull At A Dealership?
This Is Rediculous That They Wont Do Anything For Me

You might want to try another dealer. I had a talk with one of the service advisors at my dealerships regarding the changes to the 05s compared to pre-05. Brakes came up, and even he commented that they're having problems with the brakes on the 2005 G35x. This was around June 2005....7 months ago.

05's have different calipers, different pads, and bigger rotors.

when I purchased my 05 G35X, I talked to the service rep and he said that he would cover my brakes up to 36k. He recommended that I wait as long as possible b/c Infiniti would only replace the rotors once.

I HATE ALL THIS CONFLICTING DEALER ****... these dealers are*******s, they know what the problem is and wont do a damn thing. I MEAN ITS THE BRAKES FOR CHRIST SAKE, the one thing that keeps me from hitting the car in front of me and the car in back of me from hitting me!

The dealership will say any and everything to make a transaction, if it wasnt in writing, guess what will happen? but the brake warranty was coming from Infiniti, it has nothing to do with dealership, now of course the dealership can offer you an "good faith" service to repair your or anyone's brakes or any other parts, remember someone got a brand new seat cus the leather was prematurely worned/wrinkled, but it certainly isnt a norm/standard. there were no brake pads/rotors warranty from Infiniti for 05 and on that I am aware of.

From my understanding, the 05 RWD G got the bigger rotors and different brake pads (that produce less dust), and the 05 G35x has the same brakes as the 03-04 Gs. So, I would assume that you have the same brake problems. I don't understand why Infiniti doen't extend the brake warranty on the 05 AWDs similar to what they did to the 03-04's. At this point, a brake change by a dealer would be "good faith". But, you gotta go and let them know about it. My service advisor was aware of brake problems on the 05 G35x's since last year. If people don't complain, Infiniti may think everything's ok, and not even consider a warranty for the 05 G35x's. Try a different dealer.
