Where to find wheel tire sizes that will fit?
Hey everyone, looking to get new rims in time for HIN, but I don't know how to shop for tires for a rim that is 18x7.5? If anyone could kick some knowledge or send links so I can read up more, would be most appreciated. Peace...

Just can't handle any rims larger than 18" driving in the city. What do you guys think of the ones above for a silver g35 sedan? Any tire recommendations?
a little too busy for my taste..especially w/ 18's..you can look at D2autosport's website to get ideas as well as Automotiv Mods..They have some pretty nice sevas..
My pick for wheels is:

GSquad veteran Marty had these on his sedan (19's) and they looked ridiculous

and I'm sure sponsors on this site could give a competitive price on sevas.

wheel & Tire sizes...
anything from 8" - 8.5" will fit in the front and all the way around actually if you want to stick with the same rim width all around for the rims.
If you want to spend a little bit more $$ but go for a MEAN AZZ look go staggered meaning 8.5" width in the front and 9.5" in the rear
Staggered widths always make the car sit nice and look mean...mostly all the coupes with aftermarket wheels on them ....have staggered set ups.
Tire size...if you go with 18 you can get a 245/45/18 tire on all the 8.5" width wheels or 245/40/19 in the front and a 275/35 in the rear for a staggered set up.
A great resource if you are not aware of what tires will fit what rim widths check out www.tirerack.com and/or www.discounttiredirect.com
they will give you the various tires that will it the different rims you choose of theirs...not that you have to buy from them...but it will give you a feel for what fits what as far as rim size , width and tire..
hope it helps
PS: I THINK 7.5" width is too small for the G35 sedan and coupe alike...i

Well guys, thanks again for all the answers and info. I finally decided to go with the HP 18" Lightning rims, they had the best price and look, after I saw a couple of pics on a G35 and a RX8. Looking forward to getting them, can't wait. Peace....

Either way it should great on the car, post pics up when you put em on.

Well, the layaway plan is in effect and the rims are shipping next week (maybe I will get them in time for Raceway Park
) Just wanted to share the site where I got them :
www.wheelfire.com
Got a great deal with tire package and free shipping/mounting, and the reps were really helpful, so far so good. (keeping my fingers crossed, not too happy that DHL Ground is the carrier
)
Thanks to everyone's help and advice, made this so much easier and exciting.
Peace...
