Don't take my word for it, read all the publications that's been out in the past 6months... all the articles, reviews, etc don't lie... The "Mega-Hertz" myth has been an going marketing campaign that the "consumers" have been force fed to believe for the past 10 years.
Don't you find it odd that they keep claiming Mo' Mega-Hertz is better, but then all of a sudden (when P3 3.0Ghz was out), their mobile chips are running ~1.0Ghz? HUH??! It's what you do with your chip, not how fast you can run it. With increasing speed, you have to cram mo' instructions per clock cycle....
