Unfortunatly now in NY you have to have taken the Boating Safety Course to leagally drive a PWC (Personal Water Craft). I took mine when I was like 13 so I'm covered but noot too many people have this. Basically what it means is you can ride but only for short periods of time while I sit back biting my nails hoping the marine bureau doesn't show up.
And yeah it is a blast to ride, Unfortunatly I've been through a pair of impellers so far and it's becomming a little expensive to ride but fun none the less. Even with a damaged impeller it does 62 mph which is
FUN. I'm shooting for 72 this weekend though. I should be picking her up at the marina today.
