Only verbal update today...
Hopefully pix will follow assuming all goes well.

Bumper update: It was painted yesterday, baked overnight and part of today... will pick up and install tonight... argh.

Sides: Bodyshop used Urethane primer to prep the sides, but it didn't come out smooth according to John, so he's redoing it. It should get painted today, and start baking today. I can pick it up tonight, but it won't be fully UV Cured/Baked overnight... or I can pick it up and install tomorrow assuming things go well (What I'm going to do).

Detail: Haven't even started... it's going to be late nights... need to wash, clay, pre-paint finish, polish, wax, and gloss... fun fun fun.

I'm gonna head over to Duc's Chop Shop tonight... and we'll see how things progress.

Touched base with the painter today, the bumper has been sprayed and is baking. With some luck, it'll be ready tonight, worse case tomorrow morning. The sides will be sprayed today, baked and ready for pick up tomorrow moring. We still have some work to do in getting everything installed, but it shouldn't be that bad. Jay's coming out tonight and if the bumpers ready, we'll install it tonight, otherwise we'll both be detailing away till the wee hours of the morning.....

LOADS of FUN!

Don't know where to start... Mine was a bitch and a half to get to fit. It took a lot of work. For the sides, I basically shaved off the angles tabs with the 3M tape cause it just doesn't fit right. Then carefully filed/sanded whatever was needed little by little to make it work (something the bodyshop probably don't wanna take the time to do cause it's a PITA).

Since you have the Fiberglass one, you'll basically have to try and relay FB or re-Bondo the areas (Basically, fiberglassing 101... FB/Resin/Bondo/wetsand).

Good luck...

babiephat, so are you saying with the FG one is more difficult to make fit than the polyurethane one? cause this is what my body shop told me, and im not sure if thats true?

by the way do you have any close up shots up your side? would like to see how the sideskirts look on your car...
