Why I Hate Atlantic Inf (ny) *long*
well now, i know what is going on at atlantic, and why b dolan doesnt want to have anything to do with g squad. Ill say this imho bob is cool, with me, but i can see how he will not do anything with drews rims. those are alot of money, and also if he says that yes hes responsible i guess that puts his job, on the line, im really sorry to hear that drew, which mechanic worked on your car? well if you cant fined the rims check parts and polish in great neck.hope they do the right thing by you, mike

It is uncalled for, for a dealership not to answer their phone AT ALL, nor return any phone calls, especially if the customer is being polite and acting in a professional manner. I think Drew showed that in the beginning, but now...he has every right to be angry and show it.
Most other dealerships are not this difficult at all. Infiniti of Ardmore & West Chester (PA) are great and I have had very good experiences with them!! Even though I am moving to the NJ/NY area, when I can I will take my G to PA. I still have friends down here and will see them often, I'm sure.
Anyway, I understand both sides, Atlantic's a little less, but everyone has to do what they have to do. IMO, if you are an Infiniti (higher-end) car dealership, your facilities, equipment, etc. should ALL be up-to-date in every way!
Just my 2 cents.
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR FREE STUFF! ALL I WANT IS MY ******* CAR RETURNED TO ME IN THE SAME CONDITION I DROPPED IT OFF IN!!! THE ******* CAR WAS SHOWN AT HIN THE WEEKEND PRIOR TO WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!!! Yes I was yelling!
Atlantic won't replace my wheels because they are expensive???? I CALL BULLSH1T!!! At least now I know I can walk into their ******* dealership and trash a brand new M45 and I won't have to pay for it cuz it is "EXPENSIVE"!! That excuse is ******* CRAP!!!!! At least vea ******* man and call me and say hey, ya know what, GO F urself! Then I know what steps to take from there. THEY ARE COMPLETE PU$$IES!!! I am FUMING!!! FUMING!!! I can't believe you can honestly say that you can see their side because the wheels are $$$. WTF is that man!!!
I have spoken with other people who have had the same situation happen to them with their aftermarket wheels. One of which is on the boards here. His dealership in Atlanta not only told him they messed up his wheels, but they asked for a receipt and cut him a check immediately after they couldn't fix them! To me, that is respectable! They didn't deny it, they owned up and said it was their mistake, then took action to correct it! I am totally understanding of mistakes happenning, if they owned up to it and even tried to rectify the situation, I wouldn't be 1/10th of upset as I am. NOW I AM ENRAGED!!!

atlantic infiniti
I have to disagree with with your opinon on the sales team at Atlantic. They are complete douche bags. They tried to sell me a 6mt sedan with premium package c which is only available in the 5at's. Basically they tried to sell me something that Infiniti would not produce. Actually, to call them ***** bags is an insult to douche bags everywhere.

Now I am sending a certified letter requesting a status and that I will be forwarding this letter to Infiniti Corporate, Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Affiars if I do not receive a response!
I sent the certified letter on a Saturday and they received it Monday. I got my signed receipt back on Tuesday late October/early November. NO RESPONSE!!
WHY would anyone have to go through this BS with a company!! Yeah they are quick to sell you the car, but they turn their back on you as soon as you leave the showroom! If I knew then (when I bought the car) what I know now, I would have purchased elsewhere with better service even if that meant paying a little more for the car!
This week (Nov 30) – I filed a complaint with the BBB. We’ll see where that leads but I may have to take more serious actions!!
To make matters worse, VINNYCG recently traded in his 03 for a new 05 which came with…..guess what….the same gouge in the front wheel that mine has! In addition, he just had an oil change there and they gouged it again!! Now let me ask all you smart peeps out there (in the tone of Joe Pesci in My Cousin Vinny)…is it possible, that 2 YUTES…YOUTHESSS hit the same curb or road debris to cause the same exact gouge in their wheels ORRRRRRRRRR is more likely that since the only thing they have in common is their dealership…that somehow the dealership screwed them up….PONDER THAT!!!
All I have to say is that ATLANTIC INFINITI is by far the worst run business I have ever seen and their business practices are deplorable! I wouldn’t reco my worst enemy go there! That’s how bad they are! And the biggest bunch of incompetent idiots I have ever dealt with!! I will say that both RICO and STACEY (service writers) were always helpful, however, I recently called Rico since BOB didn’t respond to my calls and I haven’t heard from him either. It is possible he is away or something so we shall see!
I apologize for the long post, but I feel so much better! Until I see the pics below that is!
Here is the first mess up:

Here is the passenger side front wheel damage. Unfortunately its tough to photograph the long rash portion of it!

Can anyone tell me WTF they did here??????

Thanks Tony! Small claims is basically gonna be my best bet I believe. I have a claim currently filed with the Better Business Bureau so we shall see what comes of that. To think I would have to hire a lawyer is a major PITA and probably become an even wash. That being said, even if it was an even wash, I would rather pay the lawyer the money for the wheels then to give in to SUCKLANTIC. I have another trick up my sleeve that I may utilize which will be hysterical! Honestly, we may have an improptu "DRIVE WHATEVER THE F YOU WANT MEET" to see this! Gonna be hilarious!
I was waiting for such thread to pop up about atlantic. I'm just sorry it took 8 months.
You guys all that atlantic is the best and takes care of the G squad.... you just should have been specific to how they take care of you... (bent over with a sand paper condom)
As far as the sales team at atlantic. I got my car through a black gentleman Philip. He was really nice to me. Even better and more polite then the sales manager. If it wasnt for philip i would have wound up in jail for smacking the **** out of someone there... back when i was getting my car.
Problem with dealerships is that you need to bring the car in for minimum service warranty requirement... which if you ask me is total BS. Because they are the once who mess up your car int he first place.
I would say that the best service i ever got was back when NORTH SHORE infiniti was around. Their dealership was SUPER NICE... water fall, sculputures, high end design. Sales guys there never presured you into anything. Service rocked too. Now that they are millenium, it looks like a nissan dealership. Plus i have more issues with their service pretty much every time i bring the car there. You bring it in for 1 problem you walk out with 2... you bring it back for 2 you walk out with 3.
Personally being in sales myself, i have seen a major decline in service. This is conserning any and all industries. Shame. A few years back service is what separated one place over the next. Now its who can get it for you cheaper.
Best service i got from infiniti dealer this year was in TULSA, OK when my tranny broke down 1,500 miles away from home. Talk about how they treated me... lets just say shy of giving me the reach around, they were the best there was.
Welcome to NY... where our service is giving you the middle finger.
PS - i always worked on my cars, and after reading this thread.... i stick to doing it for a very long time

I just don't understand how people can run a biz that way! I guess because their pockets get fat, that's all that counts!

Because they know there are a lot of idiots with no common sense that will just pick up their cars and leave as oppose to a few like us who will look over. Plus a dealership is a high turn over place... they get over 100 cars a day and make money on get cars in and out not caring about your car. Because to them you nothing but a number and $$
