Question of rear tires ad Slip light?
Question of rear tires ad Slip light?
I'm asking the G squad this question and I know I also posted in SUP and wheel forum. (This comment is for Neil's eye only)
I just purchase two rear 245 45 18r Cooper Zeon Tires. Summer ones. I drove the car three time after installing the tires. Today I was driving and I notice, around turns, Like the one getting on and off the highways, that the Slip light (bliking) what on and the car was braking and computer was working normal to stop the slipping. When I had the stock tires Pilots on I had no problem with the turn. Yes I told the turns and the same speed with the Pilots.
Can I be the tires. Cooper make a statement about the tire has more rubber in the center then the side for better for wet weather. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Al, my guess is that the new tires are either not broken in yet or they have a harder rubber compound. They may work well in the summer when its warm, but they'll be crappy when the pavement is cold. How many miles were on the tires and how cold was it when you were driving.
