*Feeler* F.S. 2003 Yamaha R1
hey guys and girls, It has come to the unfortunate time of selling my real toy. I dont want to sell it, but my son is almost born and it's time to focus on the more important things. Its a 2003 R1 with just over 7,000miles. Brand new Pilot Power tires, an Ohlins steering damper, chrome windshield and a D&D carbon fiber slip on. It has had 3 oil changes since brand new and is in PERFECT mechanical working order. the bike has small blemishes on both sides of fairings. One side was my fault, the other side was my brother's. I laid it down on wet grass at about 5mph and my brother knocked it over in my garage as he was pulling in one day. The damage is just cosmetic and can easily be repaired or you can just have the damaged fairings replaced. I was just wondering if anybody here would be interested...im in south florida and would prefer a local buy, but if you are willing to pay for the expensive-a$$ shipping then by all means. I can post millions of pics of the exact damages if needed. I know they are going for anywhere between 6200-7600 for this year and mileage so make me an offer I can entertain....
thats not the price im asking....i m just saying thats an average of the asking price for bikes in mint condition and im pretty sure thats what i said in the original post..the only problem with mine is the scratched fairings, that being said, I will take less than that. i just need to get rid of the thing. it doesnt get ridden at all anymore. i think i crank it up once a week and maybe take it for a 30 min ride once a month just to give it some movement.
i understand thats not your asking price, but i gues i just wouldnt be willing to pay anything close... its a nice bike, i love them, but its an 03.. g/l with the sale
