SOLD - SC: 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe - Red - 6 Speed Manual - 72,5XX miles

2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe – 6 Speed Manual RWD – 72,5XX miles - $8000 – Anderson, SC – SOLD

VIN: JNKCV54E96M706269 (Clean Title in Hand)

I’ve had this car for 5 and a half years now and it is time to part ways. I recently bought a Cayman S as a replacement daily driver. The car has been very dependable in the entire timespan I have owned it. The classic lines of this car and wail from the exhaust make this a great affordable sports car.

Being a 2006 model this G35 has many advantages over previous year models. These include HID projector headlights, sport bumper, rear spoiler, contoured tail lights, better looking gauge cluster and center console, 19" RAYS wheels and folding rear seats for added practicality. This car also includes the rev-up 3.5L engine which adds 18 hp over previous years. This VQ engine is notorious for oil consumption however the longblock in this car was replaced under warranty in 2010 at 34,733 miles for this issue and no longer suffers from oil consumption. This car also has the premium package which adds bluetooth integration, BOSE audio, glass sunroof, power tilt/telescopic wheel, seat memory, auto on/off headlights and auto-dimming Homelink rear view mirror.

There are only three modifications to this G35 otherwise it is completely stock. One is an iPod adapter integrated into the OEM radio with the cable located in the glove box. The second is wheel spacers (20mm F / 25mm R) because from the factory the wheels look terribly sunken into the fenders. The third is swapping to a later generation Nissan rearview mirror (identical in appearance to OEM) so Homelink will work with latest generation garage doors.

A NISMO S-Tune Catback exhaust is avaible for purchase for additional cost. The exahust enhances the OEM sound so it can be heard inside the car during heavy throttle application. It truely makes this car the best sounding affordable sports cars in my opinion (no the Cayman does not come close).

The car has always been garaged and mechanically is in fantastic shape. The CarFax shows a clean title with no accidents and inspection shows all the body panels are original. This car has been in the south all of its life so no issues with corrosion or rust. Bolts will come free without the penetrating oil and torch!

I keep detailed records of the purchases, issues and maintenance with all of my cars. You will probably never see a more detailed tracking sheet then the one I have made for this car. I have lots of pictures of replacement parts and repairs that I will include with the purchase of the vehicle.

Known issues:
  • Scratches and dents in roof, trunk and quarter panel
  • Small chips in bumper and hood (original paint)
  • Paint repair on rear bumper
  • Less than 1” crack on bottom of passenger mirror
  • Rear window has some residue from tint being removed – just need chemicals to remove
  • Slight crack along bottom of the dash (common issue)
  • Tear in vinyl leather on driver’s seat (common issue)
Just to expand on the exterior issues with the car: the scratches and dents were caused by the sheetrock on the ceiling of my garage falling on the car the one day I didn’t drive the car to work *sigh*. Some of the paint on the A pillar cover was burned through in removal of these scratches. In general, the rest of the paintwork is in good condition for a 13 year old car.

Notable Recent Maintenance:
65,629 mi (6/20/2017) – Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 Tires (highly rated summer tires)
65,629 mi (6/20/2017) – Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors
65,752 mi (7/10/2017) – Alignment
66,474 mi (8/19/2017) – Battery
72,493 mi (6/2/2019) – Synthetic Oil and Oil Filter
72,493 mi (6/2/2019) – Air Filter
*see spreadsheet for more maintenance history

Great looking car, does it have rear active steering? During the lamp check when the key is first turned to ON do you have a light on the say saying RAS? Reason I ask is you have the orange stitched steering wheel and it was an option for 2006 but only on 6MT equipped models and it's always been sort of a rare option.

Thanks, you can look at the window sticker for a list of all the options. The car does not have rear wheel steering. The orange stitched wheel is listed under the standard eqipment too so I'm not sure about that one.

Hey I'm really interested in purchasing however I live a couple states away. Would you be willing to use escrow.com? I would pay for transportation costs and any fees of course.
