Possibly up for sale is my 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT. Diamond Graphite w/Willow int. The car has 22k miles and is in great condition. It is fully loaded minus navi. If youve done you research, then you know what this car comes with. Mods are Injen CAI, Crawford Plenum, and Stillen catback exhaust. I have a couple other mods that I havent installed that I can sell with or without the car. Eibach Pro springs, Kinetix adjustable traction bars, and a set of 20" TSW Thruxton wheels w/tires. PM me with any interest. Deliever arangments must be made by buyer.
Ive only had it for 5 months. I can afford the car, but I dont want to have to afford the car. Basicly, I was watching Fight Club the other day and Brad Pitt said "We work jobs we dont like so we can buy **** we dont need.....the stuff we own ends up owning us". Call me crazy, but this kinda hit home with me. I just really dont want a $450 car payment for another 5 1/2 years. I love the car, but I just dont need it right now.
Hey, man I see where you're coming from; I thought the same thing when I saw the movie. Then after I delved into the thought a little more, it hit me - this concept may not apply to everyone. Sure, if you are obsessed with and idolize material things then yes, they WILL own you. But in the end, it's still your choice as to who or what you want ruling your life.
I know that this car isn't a need. Who NEEDs a G35? We own them for the thrill, the feel, the joy and pleasure of driving a great car. Now from my perspective, I own this car for these reasons and nothing else. I own my car and the happiness it brings when I drive it - that's it.
I disagree with Pitt's bold, ubiquitous claim, "We buy crap we don't need... the stuff we own ends up owning us." I don't think it applies to everyone. There are people who struggle with letting material things drive their lives and passions. Then there are those who don't struggle as much and own material things because they give us a shred of happiness (not to be mistaken with true joy found elsewhere).
If you let these things become your source of joy, then yes, you are owned. If you find your joy elsewhere and allow these material things (i.e. your quite nice G35) to be just that - material things, then you are not owned by them.
Okay, I'm off my soapbox. I just wanted to post this idea and ask that you check yourself before letting go of something for the wrong reasons.

I appreciate your concerns. I really do. Another reason that I am looking to sell is because I am 22 years old and still living with my parents. I dont mind that now. They are extreamly cool and let me do what I want, when I want. They also dont want me to move out, then have to move back in for financial reasons. That being said, they want me to pay the car off before I move out. That means, i would be, at minimum, 26 years of age and still living with mom and dad. I dont want that to happen. At most, i want to get out by 23. I can always buy another one later down the road. Once again though, thank you for your concern.
