G35 Coupe CONVERTIBLE?

Please someone tell me my Infiniti salesman wasnt messin with me when he told me they're scheduled for a convertible really soon?? I leased a laser red and LOVE it!! Lease is up in about 2 years and I am freaking for a g35 convertible...would hate (well, not hate..) to lease another hardtop when a convertible could be around the corner. Anyone have any info on this?

I don't think so. There was talks about it but I don't think infiniti ever really went through with it. In my opinion, I would not drive a convertible G35, I would rather get an S2k... the convertible would not follow the whole "G" aerodynamics that they're trying to promote...

Quite frankly, I would prefer a G35 Coupe with a panoramic roof than a convertible.

Retractable hard top like SC430 would be tight IMO, excebt you would add a bunch of weight and lose the moonroof when its not quite nice enough for the top to be down.

I think it would be so ugly. Just like the convertible Z looks like **** because of the shape of it. IMO

Exactly, i don't think so either. And let's say if Infiniti do decided to do drop top G35 then , i am sure they would go hard top convertable.

i feel like our cars share a lot of the same lines as the sc430... so i would expect a g35 convertible to look somewhat alont the lines of that. Not saying i would get one... but thats what i think....
