DIY Oil Change for lowered Car?

Ok, no places wanted to take my car so I had to go to one of those Car Was/Lube places that has an underground passage to get my oil Change (had my own Oil Filter) I have a mild drop but with the ING+ Front Lip and Side it is almost impossible to run this on a Ramp. I purchased a Jack that is perfect for lowered car (3" Min.) and my side skirt is about 4" off the ground. How do you guys change your Oil?

^+1

The 2x4 will only lift it enough to get the stock jack underneath with those INGS sides. Use the stock jack to get it high enough to get the floor jack underneath the front black metal bracket between those two circles in the center. Lift the whole front then place jackstands. Do all of that in reverse order to lower.

So you just jack the car? Jacking the car is not a problem since I have a low profile jack. It's more on the safest way to jack the car so I can change my Oil Filter and drain my Oil.

I went to Homedepot. They had a special on alot of their long planks of wood. So I bought about 12 of them.. And I nailed them one by one to create steps. I drive my car up the steps one by one.. Till it's about 2 ft tall.. Then I can do whatever I want.. Jack it up higher or just get under it.

It's a tight squeeze, but I can get under the car and get the underpanel off.. and do the oil change without jacking the car up.
I just did it again a few days ago.

I can't get any jack under my car since my car is so low with the kit. The only jack point I even have a chance to getting to is the rear diff.. And that's with a racing jack.

If you have access to a lift. I do the samething with blocks of wood.. except I only do it enough to get the lift arms under the car. (around 3 steps of wood)

I make draw of what I do. With my Nismo front, I just barely clear it. I'd be scraping if I was down to 34 PSI.

I was recently denied service at my local Infiniti dealership cause of the kit + drop.

I was thinking the same thing. So having the car tilted like that will this drain all the oil?

Yes it will drain. I use 2, 3/4 " pieces of plywood with the rhino ramps. Did oil change 2 days ago.

The hardest part is getting the damn cover out of the way. I don't bother undoing all 16 of those bolts. Just the four inner body ones and then I fold it like the Infiniti techs do. Only problem is, there is barely enough room to fold that sucker down as it is. Such a PITA!

The oil change place I went to had some planks and I only pulled in far enough for the front end to be over the pit. They seemed used to this.

even after the drop I had no problem finding a shop for the alignment. After the Kit was installed now there's no shop that will take it. even my old shop that use to take my previous slammed cars.
