Mystery Windows

I've had the power windows open themselves on 3 separate times in an unattended car. Once both windows were down about 2 in.,the next 2 times they were fully open. I think I got a Japanese BMW !!!!!! Has anyone else encountered this problem. The dealer says he has not had any other reports.

Re: Mystery Windows

Make sure no one is playing with your key fob. You can roll them down with the key fob, maybe you sat on it?

Re: Mystery Windows

Yeah it's probably your key fob. I've had mine in my pocket the wrong way and set off the panic alarm.

Re: Mystery Windows

u are not imagining things and it may or may not be ur fob. My windows did the exact same thing after I turned off car and rolled them up with the delayed aux power. My driver window went up, then immediately popped back down 3 inches. Did this 4 times. Finally got them to stay up by holding the power window button in the up position. It hasn't done it since and when dealer looked at it, could find nothing wrong.
