i just picked up my 04 coupe. it had something like a clear bra on rear fender, where it flares out. don't hold me to measurements, but something like 4x6 or whatever.

is this std on all 6mtC's? just 04's?

 

All the Coupes have those to protect the paint from stuff thrown up by the front tires.

 

YEA!!!! Both my 03' and my 04' had this...um how do i take it off?? willl it look funny? Or will it leave a sticky residue? In fact is worth keeping on, so little rocks dont kick up and scratch my car!?

 

I actually need a new piece for my rear right fender. The dealer should have it right?

they arent being generous with that clear bra piece, its really required. There is turbulance over that area. If you run without that piece, that area will look sandblasted after a few months.

as tpware said, LEAVE IT ON, Nissan R+D realized the rockchip problem and decided to imply this easy fix.

Getting a new piece from the dealer...it should be under warranty, should be covered under the bumper-to-bumper warranty, right?
