Center Console Color....

Hey guys....ok got a question. For those with the titanium looking center console...does this seem to scratch easily? I believe you get the titanium looking console with the sport package?!? If you don't get the sport package isn't the center console just black? Which do all of you prefer?

Re: Center Console Color....

If you're talking about the AT, the "titanium" trim only comes with the Performance Wheel package (because limited slip is useless without ugly silver spraypaint on the dash).

I greatly prefer the matte black. If you have a willow interior, you get a willow console rather than black, which I've heard has more of a plastic sheen. On the other hand, I think the titanium looks like a big Casio wristwatch. In the end though, you should get what you like. LSD and the Pilots are tough to pass up for the price of that package.

Re: Center Console Color....

I have the titanium trim interior (Graphite 6MT). I much prefer it to the all black. I put aluminum trim on the window control console area on the doors (trying to match the titanium as close as possible). I really like the look. My last car, a Lexus SC300 had wood. I prefer the titanium look much more. As far as scratches go, none on the console yet (7 months) a couple of hairline ones on the door pulls. Though I like the look, I do wish they were a little more scratch resistant.
