Rear Suspension Assy - Tunnel Stay

So I just discovered that my tunnel stay on the rear right of the vehicle has been bent significantly, into the gas tank infact. I think when I went to get my tires replaced the f'd it up (please stay away from All About Tires in Toughkenemon, PA). At any rate, is this something I need to worry about? I don't know enough about cars to say.

Thanks.

Maybe this pic will help - the tunnel stay is at the bottom and I circled the part that is bent up.

I dont know THAT much about cars either, but that cant be good... If it were my car, they would be paying to have it replaced.

Since the brace has been bent into the gas tank, you should have Infiniti check it out for an unsafe condition and repaired as needed.
You may not have a leak at the moment but it could worsen with time and eventually cause a leak and fire.

Then you need to talk to the tire outfit who may have done the damage to see if they'll help.

We just replaced one here at Inskip Infiniti, one of the techs was doing the gas recall when he discovered that the stay tunnel was bent real bad.
Part #74870-AM800 $183.10 The price is not the bad if the delership you take it to wont replace it.
