fast 6MT 1/4 mile times
I have a 6MT 03. Went to the dragstrip for the first time ever last year did the following:

later on people told me that the place where i was at is known to give u times that are usually .2 higher than what u r actually doing. Maybe one day i will try again.
Car and driver in 03 gave the car a 14.2 on the 6MT. so i guess mid to low 14s is all good.

I believe it was GeeWiz at 13.6 @ 106mph with vortech supercharger in a G35 sedan. He missed shift third gear so he lost a little time. I think he could have done it in low 13's high 12's if done right.
As for the all the car mag times they correct their number for Ideal elevation, temp ect. and are a little lower then what they really ran. Plus lets be honest, although there might be some great drivers in here the people at car and driver are professionals and that's what they do all day. Most of use will never get the amount of wheel time they do. Thats why it's not a good idea to mag race ( I.E. they said your car did x.xx and my car did x.xx so I'm faster). Take the rx-8 stock for stock does any one here actually believe all the mags that say it is quicker then the g35. Also people tend to read 10 mags and pick the quickest time. Yes I saw the 5.8's 0-60 14.2sec 1/4 but I also saw 6.1 and 14.9's as well. for who ever started this thread, look who has been to the track and have some proof like pictures or slips there all in the mid 14's N/A and mid to high 13's FI depending on investment and tune with some freak runs out there but 98% will fall in those lines.
/\ you cant keep comparing you track to others... maybe in your track mid 14's are the best you can muster but other track are known to be faster (Weather/altitude/Driver...) all are factored in. Time Slip should be posted to validate the time but your track has nothing to do with Track in CA or Colorado.
13.87 @ 101mph with street tires & bolt-ons...(680 feet above sea level)
A lot depends on your elevation. Generally speaking, the higher the Elevation the higher the times. Especially with N.A. Engines!
