Could someone show me how to remove the taillight

Titles says it all. I wanted to remove it so i can install a 9 LED bulb for the reverse light. Please someone correct me if im wrong but is the reverse light a 921 bulb?

if you are just changing the bulb, you dont have to remove the taillight to do it. You need to remove the inside trim by removing the plugs that holds it down and turn the reverse light **** counter clockwise.

You mean the carpet area right? Not the plastic part? Also can you confirm to me is the bulb a 921?

BTW, most led bulbs are nowhere near as bright as the incandescent ones. If your going for more light output, don't do it.

just peel back the carpeting trim in the trunk and you can see the back of the tailight. Then simply twist and pull out the reverse light bulb.

I don't think thats true..I have some piaa dual leds in my DRL...I think there freakin bright for only 2 leds. Well im going to just try out these bulbs for the reverse to see if its any brighter.

PS- Can anyone comfirm is the reverse light a 921. I dont know a site that where i can check it at.

I thought LED bulbs are brighter, use less power, operate cooler and last longer. I think just like HIDs are newer and better than conventional headlight bulbs, so are LED bulbs... better than the old stuff. Somebody confirm this? Why more and more cars use them in they're taillights if they are worse???

Hey guys i just tired to change the reverse light and i did pull back the carpet trim that covers the tailights and nothing was there. I didnt even c the reverse light. Maybe the 06 is different from past yrs?

I changed my reverse bulbs to the LED cluster bulbs and they are not as bright as the oem ones.
