Just noticed an 18'' scratch on the side of my G (drivers side door). Looks like it was keyed. Scratch is deep but not down to the metal. I can run a fingernail in the groove. What's the best way to remove it. And how do I go about replacing the clear coat? HELP!

Ouch... have you considered visiting a body shop and asking if they can buff it out?
