am i the only having serious problems with getting keyed? so far its happened twice, once along the entire length of the car and now under the "g35" emblem on the back.. ive had my car for a few months.. this is getting ridiculous.. I CANT STAND IT! wtf should i do

No dude don't trip...it happens to the best of us... Before i traded in my 2003 G35 coupe...it looked like some one bashed my right head lamp with a skate board...or something that left paint on my head lamp!!! so i gave a good wash, and polished the head lamp..then it looked decent...just with 4 or 5 deep skinny gashes on the plastic cover!

 

Cover ur car wen ur out, don't drive it to school like me. =) I drive the 280zx to school

Crap...where did u park ur car and get keyed? I wouldn't want nobody to keyed my car so most of the time I'm either in the car or next to it...LOL! Well if I drive it to school I prefer parking it at the people spot...so that no one would do something stupid in front of everybody...u know. Good luck for the repair.

 

between it being a new car (10 days old) and what i've read about being keyed...

when i take it somewhere, i park away from crowd and in fact, question where i'll take it. i keep it garaged at home.

I saw someone get keyed once. This stupid bitch that cut off about 20 people AND flipped them off. She parked and ran into the mall in a hurry, then this dude got out of his Porsche, walked over to her car and proceded to key the entire length of her car up one side and down the other. I guess that her SC430 will need a paintjob now!

As far as your car goes, try parking it faaaaarther out in the lot, it'll be safer. If you were in NY, I'd let you borrow a shotgun to "subdue" the ****** cutting up your car. [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

If you drive like an assshole when you're going to school, maybe you should try not to. Students have a think for getting revenge on punk asssholes who drive like dicks on the road. I'm not saying you are one by any means, but sometimes you do it without thinking. I know I do!

I'd say try to park beside some cars that is more expensive. I usually try to park beside some porsche, m3, m5, ferrari, sc430...etc., so those kids will look at those car more than my G. And if some kids wants to key a car becuz they are jealous, it's gonna be the car beside me.

 

I never had the luxury to drive a nice car like the G when I was in college. I was glad I couldn't because I saw so many nice cars that were keyed on campus . That sucks. I drove a beat up 84' Honda CRX in college though, no power steering, no power window, no power door locks .

 

Ok, thats pretty bad but I have a 94 Black honda civic and the A/C doesnt work! I was gonna get it fixed but mechanics said it would cost over $500 so I said F'it im going to be getting my G soon, I rather put the money into the G than the civic. I have to dress nice for work to, so in the summer I would walk into work drenched! Its good and bad to get a nice car, good because, hey you get an A/C. lol. and a sweet ride, but then you always have to worry about it. With my civic i didnt car if people keyed it, banged it, threw up on it(long story lol). The G is worth worrying over.

 

Take a five minute walk and park away from everyone. If not, park next to the expensive cars. Sorry about your G!
