had both replaced a year ago under warranty. the passenger just went again a few weeks ago. stupid dealer gives a 1 year 10k mile warranty. i was under a year but over the 10K. had to pay 450 bucks. i guess infiniti doesn't mind that their equipment probably wont last longer than a year. i guess my next car will not be an infiniti.
so far i've paid for: driver side seat heater switch replaced, passenger side window motor, repaint the front bumper. i still havent fixed the passenger side seat motor, which hasnt worked for over a year, cant move it forward/backward or up/down. they want another 500 bucks for that. as much as people say american cars are crap, my last car, a 99 chevy corvette, i have spent alot more money fixing my g35 than my corvette.

03G35Black, what are you talking about dude? 1 year, 10K mile warranty for window motors? Sounds like your dealership just took $450 from you.
My 03's driver-side window motor died at around 17K and then the passenger-side window died a couple months later. Replaced under warranty both times and had tinted windows...dealership doesn't care if you have tints or not.

i have 85000 miles on my car. its one year 10k miles after the first one was replaced under warranty at 58000 miles. actually it was the third motor. the first time it was replaced at 30000 miles, and then at 58000 miles. and again at 82000 miles. gotta love nissan/infiniti parts.

Did you have to pay to replace the motors after the warranty was over? I would think that they would supersede the motor with an updated one that would not fail. I guess I'm dreaming. I would make a stink if there is a paper trail of the motor design being crap from day one.

Stupid dealerTook the car to the dealer friday(2.5hr round trip) for an oil change, alignment(they said I needed it to keep my wheel warranty intact), and to fix my window problem. Was there from 8:30 to 12:30. Supposedly most of the time was spent on the window but who really knows since the lady I was dealing with left at a 10 and I never saw her again. Anyway, come Saturday the same thing started happening again. Car gets hot, roll passenger side up and it drops back down.
