Group deal for Gialla spoilers
I like many others on the board, want to get a Gialla spoiler. I am trying to order one from Japan. The problem is that the shipping cost is very high. So, I proposed to Teiwa a group deal. They just sent me a response back and they are interested. This would be an order of at least 8 spoilers shipped in one package to the US at 1 time. They are willing on giving me a better price on 8 or more spoilers. So I am proposing a group deal. I live in Dallas, so if anyone wants one locally then there wouldn't be an addition shipping charge once they arrive. They are about 8 lbs a packaged spoiler. I get discounted UPS shipping from work, so if you are interested then let me know your zip code so I can estimate the final shipping costs. I am trying to get them for $360-380 delivered.

Re: Group deal for Gialla spoilers
That is a great price including shipping. I got mine for 420 shipped. BTW, the spoiler is made out of urathane. You can tell it is high quality.
My advice is before you put it on, make sure you get someone that have a keen eyes for perfection. The reason is the double sided tape, they come in 2 type of thickness. If you happen to miss-align the spoiler, you are screw because of the double sided tape. My local auto parts have only one type of double sided tape.
Also, there is two small screw that need to be screw on. Expect some drilling but it is way on top corner. Hope that help.

Re: Group deal for Gialla spoilers
I got a repsonse back from them. First this is only for the Gialla. If we order at least 3 at one time, there is a 10% discount. This is for both spoilers and body kits. That is, several of us do separate orders placed directly with them at the same time as an open group deal. The price of the rear trunk spoilers is $346 before discount. That makes our cost currently $311.40. With this deal, I can have them shipped individually for about $48.65 ea(by current yen-dollar exchange rates). So the final cost will be about $360. Sorry G35MT that this couldn't be done earlier for you, but your pictures really helped a lot for me in making my decision. I was originally looking at the Impul, but after seeing a lot of pics of both on cars off the list; the Gialla was the nicer choice.
I am still tying to work some more on it to see if I can get them even lower. I plugged into a couple of the zips to ship here from Texas. Since each package would be about 6 lbs, the shipping cost is less than $10 UPS ground(insured for $400) anyplace in the continental US. Now if I can get a better deal on 10+ units(~15-20% discount) and have them bulk shipped($15-20 ea from Japan to Texas), then it might be possible to get them down as low as the $320 range.
For painting, there is no pre-painting. In Dallas, we have Sportwing who manufacturers knock-off wings of the stock coupe and sedan spoilers. They sell them unpainted or prepainted in all the factory colors. I thought about talking to them for painting since they already have the right color matches.

Re: Group deal for Gialla spoilers
Teiwa also carries Data Systems, but I don't know if I can get a discount other than ship. What we are working out for Gialla is a bulk order. They actually don't stock the parts, so it takes about 2 weeks to get them from Gialla. Shipping is pretty fast at 3-5 days by air. If they order more from Gialla at one time, they can get a better discount and pass it off to us. Gialla does not sell direct if anyone is curious about it(I alsready asked them). This is why I amy not be able to get any discount on a single Data Systems spoiler. As a note, look at the picks of the Data Systems carefully. Originally I thought it was just a ducktail, but it actually follows up the sides of the trunk toward the rear window. This will really take away a lot away from the side profile, so I would think twice before ordering one. We can also get the Gialla front spoilers and grills at the same discount. So, the front urethane spoiler is $351+ ship and the ABS front grill is $248.40 + ship.

Re: Group deal for Gialla spoilers
Loren, so what you mean is, everyone order on their own directly with Teiwa, and the spoiler then will be 311, and spoilers will be shipped to everyone that ordered it individually right? I suppose that means Canadian can join this group buy too? I'm definetely interested if 320 + shipping is the price. Keep me update! thanks.
