05 Coupe, 9K miles....never braked hard in my life. I went up a mountain hill in my area and when coming down I did so really slow as to not over power the brakes (instead of keeping it in gear)....and I mean enevr did I let it pick up speed so I was basically on the brakes the whole time to maintain constant low speed. Once I started driving on normal streets I heard a squeek from my brakes that only came on AS I pressed the brake but dissapears when the car slows down....

What gives? Do brakes squeek when over worked and go back to normal when cooled? I doubt my pads are worn at 9K miles and I doubt it was dirty...Im pissed as is with this car....

 

you might have worn your breaks a little more, since you said you were on the break the whole time down. I usually leave it in gear going down. just what i think.
