Waiting... Waiting... and Still Waiting...
90 days max from time of order till delivery.... 78 days more and counting... so says the dealership. What is everyone that ordered their G's wait time? I swear this wait is killing me. Is it really about 3 months of a wait?
I've read that some have gotten their G in about a month after their order was placed, but then I've read that others have had to wait more than 3 months. Any experiences from Orlando Infiniti? I think it was my fault for not buying my G that one day and stalling because now someone is driving it around and I'm sitting here waiting.... =(

ok here is the deal what did order? TO be exact what color, options. I really wanted white and my second coice was DG. ended up getting DG. so tell me what you ordered and ill tell you whats up.

mine was an order. 04 6mtC, sunroof only, no packages.
i ordered on order day (6/3). it took 3 months till it hit dealer. NJ.
they HAD been tracking a couple of weeks early but got slightly delayed on 04 switchover.
sometimes dealers will swap your order for similar one that is unclaimed.

order day is usually sometime in the first week of the month. it's also my theory on the best day to order a car. last chance for a salesman/dealership to earn extra money.
i think it contributed to me getting a discount off msrp

I live in Southern NJ, I called dealers within a 100 mile radius on Monday and found several coupes, picked my car up on Tuesday from Willow Grove, PA

i had to leave a deposit for two reasons.
1. mine isn't a std package. i have sunroof but not premium.
2. i was getting 1000 off msrp. he knew i had spoken to another dealer, i told him. this guaranteed him his sale.

Be patient...but not to much so.
I waited 75 days and couldn't stand it anymore. Went to the dealership, my salesperson was off that day. Asked someone to check the order status of my '04 6MT Leather Coupe, he returned with his head down saying " your not gonna want to hear this". Appearantly my car had been omited from the build list at the factory and noone had checked on it for 75 days! Infiniti did a dealer search and found two cars in the US built to my specifications. Infiniti paid the transport cost from St. Louis to Oklahoma City and had my car delivered 3 days after discovering the error. Three sleepless days I'll tell ya!
Hope your wait has a happy ending as well.
