arrgh windows! annoying problem and temporary fix

well its my first week of owning the g35c and Im more than happy with it...but I am just starting to experience some of the annoying problems that these cars seem to have.

My passenger window started creaking today moving it up and down, and when I finally parked it in the garage and rolled it up, it creaked all the way to the top, closed, and then rolled down about half way.

No matter what I tried it kept doing that. I needed to drive my car tommorrow, but theres no way i was gonna park it with the window open, so I played around some more, and found that if I press and hold it to go up, and then locked the windows it would stay up. If I unlock it still stays up, and will roll down properly. I guess this will be my temporary fix until they can take my car in.

oh yeah, i noticed at the top of my hood today too

Yeah i have the same problem with my 05 Z. I called the dealer about this and they wanted to charge me for this.

I asked if it was covered under my bumper to bumper warranty and he replied with " how many miles do you have on the car?" I replied 17K, and he said that they would have to charge me for adjustment work. He also stated that there was a 12 month/12K mile limit on warranty parts thus the charge for them to look at the window.

But yes I do hold the window button up so the window closes properly. What a joke right? Reply back if you have any news on this. Thanks!

After a while the window motor will stop working.

take it to the dealer and it should be covered under warranty. 100% its the window motor...

My driver side window was acting up (got stuck twice). The dealer replaced the motor for free (at 35k miles).
