Anyone ever have the intellikey not work for their trunk button (button on the car itself, not the fob)? I have to keep pressing the button and eventually it does work after 5 or so presses. However, this problem happens very rarely so I doubt it would get replicated if I took it into the dealership. I have owned the car 7 months and this problem has only occured about 3 times in the last two months - I use my trunk everday to store my stuff on the way to the lab. I wonder if something like this will be fixable or it might just occur too rarely/randomly for the problem to be tracked down?

What about when opening the other doors, any probs with those? I haven't had any problems yet with mine. Has it done it with only one remote or both? Maybe try changing the battery if it is only doing it with one of the remotes. Do you hear the 2 beeps when you push the button?

Are you holding down the button? For the trunk you have to hold the button down for a few seconds around 3 or so, then it pops.

Same issue, then I just held the button longer and it works everytime.

you have to get in the car and turn the key to on position so that the computer resets. Once it does, the trunk should work via key FOB.

If you're talking about the exterior button, i've only noticed it not working when i have the keys in the hand that is pressing the button. Ditto for the doors. It seems as if the key is too close, it "loses" it.

Its actually mentioned in the manual that the fob cant be too close or else it wont work. Personally I have never had a problem with the trunk button.
