^Yep, that's the issue.

I'm in an '05 with 92XX miles, also sits in the sun at work. Passenger side is fine, but you can see the Driver's side above.

I wouldn't want the dealer to replace it anyway since they may scratch it, not put it on correctly, etc.

Mine is very slight as well - PS. Just one, about 1in. from the forward end. It's barely noticeable. DS is clean. Something I wouldn't worry about at all, as they might make it even worse.

i've discovered the trim is very pliable. mine was fairly bad on the pass. side, so i took a plastice body shop putty spreader and slid it between the car and the molding and straightened it out. i think it is an installation issue.

^Has it stayed straight after you did this or does it slowly go back to warping?

I noticed that mine is pretty bad on the driver's side too. I always thought the tint guys did it by applying heat to shrink the tint to the window around the dot matrix. Didn't realize it could have been a manufacturer defect. A quick question though, of all of you who see the problem, how many have had your windows tinted? Just curious as it seems to be a part issue since cars on the lot have this problem. But I just can't recall if my molding was warped before I had my tints put on.

I have a 2003.5 and my passenger side rear quater window moldings are in perfect condition. Note that I'm always washing my car myself with non-pressurized running water. My guess is that the damage is being caused by Car Wash or pressure wash...

My car has always been hand washed......plus the new OEM parts that were ordered came in damaged.

passenger side molding f'd up from day one, there was also a little blip in the sunroof gasket, but some pressure and heat got it right and has stayed.

Mine has been like that since whenever... 15k miles 2005 ...

IMHO you guys are picky. I saw it but never thought that I'd take it to the dealer unless it caused wind noise or leaked.

Honestly, I wouldn't touch it in case they screw something else up in the process.

I had a Mustang that was featured in 10 National magazine... I'm a little **** about my cars. If this was a Kia I would expect this....it is however a luxury Sports Coupe that costs a premium and it should have a better QA process.
