VDC coming on!

VDC coming on!
Just changed tires for the 1st time after 29k miles. Went one size bigger, front and rear (from 225 to 235 front, from 245 to 255 rear) on my 2004 G35 coupe with 18" factory wheels.
On high speed turns, exits, interchanges, my VDC lights up, causing the front tires to make an awful sound and make the car as it was locking up
Does any one have an answer/experienced such a freaky thing? My tire store manager has never experienced this and neither has the dealer.
HELP!

What is your side wall height? Are you running the same as stock? (45% of width). When you up grade your tires to larger sizes you sometimes change the ratio of speed between the front and the back and that can cause the computer to think that one of your tires is spinning out. If you upgrade both front and rear and keep the same side wall height you should be ok.
225-45-18 circumference 81.59 difference 2.23
245-45-18 circumference 83.82
235-45-18 circumference 82.71 difference 2.22
255-45-18 circumference 84.93
By the way this is a good site to calculate all this stuff. I would recommend checking it out before making any odd changes to tire size.

I think you might be rubbering. is this only when you take turns. Put something on your rear fenders and see if that goes on your wheels. Its either rubbering or your vdc does'nt like your bigger tires.
with the size you changed to, it should do much of a difference.
I would check that first. good luck.
