You are not alone, has happend to me twice since I bought the car in 2004. This topic has been discussed before but unfortunately it happens so rarely, to so few, and is near impossible to recreate that it has maintained as a mystery.
If you find a fix let me know!

I had 03 and it happened. First on driver side.... then the passanger side right up until it just never moved back up. Cause motor failure. Now this same problem is on my 05. Rolls down on its own but only 3-4" then stops. Also when you do AUTO up. it rolls up then rolls down.

Nothing Is pressing the Fob ... I dont think its windows motor failure due to the fact that both go all the way down at the same time... It really is as if i were pushing the unlock button to roll them down .. but im not...

just posted a reply on a similar issue, you will eventually need a new motor. had mine replaced 3 tims, the third time not under warranty. this is one of the main reasons that my next car will not be an infiniti.
It doesn't sound like a motor problem at all. If the windows are up and the motor fails it will will not cause them to lower. Only if you are tryign to raise the windows will they drop by themselves.
When you get to the car are the doors locked or unlocked?
The only two things that will lower the windows with the IGN off is either
1. Holding the 'UNLOCK' button on the remote
or
2. Turning the key to the 'UNLOCK' position in the drivers side door
If you are positive you arn't pushing the button down then I would look in to the driver side key cylinder wiring. You can snip one wire (without removing the door panel) and disable the key cylinder window down control.
