I thought about waiting also. Then I decided, like gsedanman said, it'll never come if I just wait. Besides, think of having the first production run of a awesome car that everyone loves to look at and admire. I'm waiting like 2 weeks more until my car is delivered, then I'll be driving while other people are waiting. Do yourself favor and go for it! There's no time like the present. Good luck

fvck no, you'll be lucky if(if you're in canada) if you order now and get your car by May......they're really backed up up here.

I had to chose to eitehr pay the extra 3400 and take the navi system, or wait until May to get mine, so I said F-it and paid the 3400 to get it this week

Order now, there might be a few minor kinks but, it will be all covered under warranty anyway. And plus, it is one of the most reliable makes on the road. You can feel pretty confident.

You should wait. Yeah it's a gorgeous car - but if wanting to be the first one on your block to have the car is a concern to you, your burdening yourself for no reason. This car is in such limited production - I have yet to see too many on the road and many people don't even know what the car is - I think this car's design is timeless - it'll never fade away. The other thing you have to consider is this, do you want the little trim details to be refined? for example, the current model has the fake aluminum trim - but the new FX45, maxima, murano have real aluminum trim. I wouldnt be surprised if the real stuff showed up on the 04 G35s. Things like that would make a difference to me - the question is would they make a difference to you? if they do, you should wait.

To wait or to buy now...That is the question. Depends on how bad you want it. If you wait, you may get a refined product that has most of the kinks ironed out (like the sedan), but may be more expensive in the future like the sedan is rumored to be. If you want to buy now (if the dealers haven't met their allocation) you might have to waaaaiiiit anyway until one gets finally shows up and deal with the first run production models. I would say wait, 'cause you might have to anyhow.

You may risk paying more for the same car by doing so. I spoke with my dealer today who told me that Infiniti will raise the price on the G35 and that they know it is currently underpriced. You will see an improved version of the car with added items but with a substantially higher price. I asked him if a loaded coupe could get close to the 40k range and he said it very well could. This dealer is very dialed in with infiniti and works closey with the Infiniti corporate office in CA. Just something to consider!
