Wowa . . . Sorry to read about your incident. Thankfully, only the car was damaged. It looks like it will be judged a total, which may be a good thing. Good luck!

I would check to see if you have the option to get the check made out to yourself rather than both you and the body shop. Did you lease or own? If you own, and get the option, I would try to sell the car as is and take the check and run. Most of us don't want a car after so much damage. Sorry to say this, but It won't be the same. Good luck and you are lucky you are not physically hurt.

There's been a lot of accidents going on. I guess it will just keep up this way since more and more people are driving G's.

Sorry to see the damage bro. It looks pretty extensive, hopefully it goes whatever way you want, totalled or not.

i think the air bag ejecting is a mistake in the design of the car...mine went off as well but there was no one in the passenger seat. Maybe some one else can chime in. Should it go off if no one is in it based on how hard you hit?

My body shop explained there is an airbag sensor behind the front bumper that is activated by contact force. I believe it will activate both airbags regardless of whether there is a passenger or not.
