Its not a tow hook, it hooks onto the jack so you can lift the jack quickly

it is where your cargo net goes when you're not using it. that's what i was told with my 03.

It IS a tow hook, the hook thats for the jack is on the LEFT of the jack.

Look around in your trunk. I found mine stuck in some tar on the other side of the trunk under the mat. It's a heavy sumbitch.
