Really? That's your argument?
Neither of which are considered fast or even "quick" by the vast majority of the automotive world. Those are low-end, bargain bottom models for each of their manufacturers. If you think "well im faster than a 328i" is a respectable argument, you have no clue what a fast car is or should be. I'm not saying the G doesn't have some kick....but some people on here think it's a race car. Guess that's what happens when the resale value drops and kids start scooping them up as their first cars.

im really not trying to argue with. im just trying to get my point across. the only reason why i was comparing it to a 328 and is250 is because you were talking like our cars could get it a$$ handded to it by a civic. my point is the G35 is not that fast but its not slow either.unless you go FI its mainly a cruiser with moderate umphh. i think we can agree on that. its not my first car and i didnt get a bargain on it either.

I think this is a group of the top .1% of knowledgable car enthusiasts -(most - some knuckleheads). The other 99.9% of regular people who use a car to get ftom point A to point B (see Prius sales) can't tell 17s from 19s, a 2002 Grand Cherokee from a 2012 ( just an example).
IMHO G35 meets the traditional definition of a sports car in every way, shape and form.
