You know you own a G35 coupe when.
I'm new here so sorry if I rip an expert but a G35 coupe is a sports car. Dimensions , power, rear wheel drive and 6 speed. Is it a Porsche? - no - but look out on the road in the real world and in 2012 and it's undeniable it fits in the sports car class.
I think this is a group of the top .1% of knowledgable car enthusiasts -(most - some knuckleheads). The other 99.9% of regular people who use a car to get ftom point A to point B (see Prius sales) can't tell 17s from 19s, a 2002 Grand Cherokee from a 2012 ( just an example).
IMHO G35 meets the traditional definition of a sports car in every way, shape and form.

Not here to argue though...if you think you're driving a true sports car, all the more power to you. Granted, I think it's a great car, just not that impressive speed-wise. I guess in todays day and age, a true sports car is hard to come by, therefore compact entry-level luxury cars can slip under the radar.

- Science is jealous because 18 hours after it rains water can still get in your car
- Exxon is buying shares in Infiniti
- You get defensive realizing you bought a touring car
- Jeep oddly has a shortage on transmissions while G35's are selling like hot cakes
- Professional weightlifters can't open the door.
- In 2007 internet punks are figuring out ways to fix problems with the G35 that world renown engineers can't.
- Virgins want their 8 seconds back
- Science is jealous because 18 hours after it rains water can still get in your car

Except for the fast part. LOL Take a stock G35 to the drag strip and try to prove to everyone that a high 14 second car is a sports car. Just saying.

Not saying it's a Porsche just saying fast is relative. Thanks for the debate.
