the redesign on the coupe whether its 08 or maybe even 09, the one with the VQ35HR will have more power than current coupes by far. So wait for that and forget the mid-gen 07s

See what the real performance numbers are (1/4 mile, 60ft, etc) and then judge. Cars with larger rated HP numbers and such often get trounced by cars with lesser numbers because real world performance often DOES NOT reflect rated numbers.

Is a tenth of a second really that important?

If the 07 coupe HP numbers are SAE ratings does that mean the 07 Sedan 306 is SAE rating as well??
so how much would that be under the old ratings??

100% Agree

I would like to add though... Keep in mind Infiniti is a luxury brand and the car weighs a hefty amount to be "really" considered a performance car. Its not in the same class, but it sucks when pulling upto a S2000 and we're basically both neck & neck by 125mph...
