You just have to search a bit, dude...I found lots to help me in the lighting section of the forum (you may have to go back in the archive several pages but it's there).
I've replaced both my clearance lights and corners with the same bulbs (168...some manufacturers have a different number for the same bulb and it's confusing as hell). If you are looking at PIAA and you want a white look, buy the super LED Wedge bulbs -white (but make sure it is not the blue-white color cuz those are really blue...see pics). I think they sell them in several different colors:
White
Blue-White (my Pics)
Blue
I hear the white looks sweet but I like mine, too.
The fogs/Day lights are much harder to buy and much more expensive the higher you try to go in K. I bought the 4000K H4 Xtreme White Plus bulb (PIAA) that supposedly emitts an "Xtreme Cool Blue White light". It is much better than the stock fogs but still does not match the night lights at all...
If I had to do it over I would get a better match (but that would mean a bulb for huge bucks) or purchase a blue looking fog to match my other bulbs....
If you got the money for H4's to burn...go to the lighting section and ask some of the members...don't go by pics alone...

much thanks to everyone from this thread. big big help. just to add something about installation of clearance lights if people need help: i was able to put them in this afternoon without taking the wheels off. just turned the wheel all the way to pop the plastic (reusable) pegs out. then, just bend the cover back far enough to get to where the bulb is. i lined up by eye where the bulb will be--it ended up being connected to a piece that stuck out which you can pull out, replaced the bulb and felt my way around to get it back in the spot. very easy and it didnt take too long. as long as you have long arms you can probably do it this way. i ended up using the PIAA White/White LED wedge lights. #19263 i believe. hope this helps.

My Headlights pics and info

Hi all,

This is my first post after viewing and absorbing all of the information on these forums for the past month or so. I just got my first G35 (2005 G35C AT) a month ago and wanted to change the lights. I used alot of the information from this thread and just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

I just got done throwing in some new bulbs and wanted to let everyone know exactly what I did.

1) First I changed all of the interior lights by getting a "kit" off ebay it changed all of my interior lights from yellow to white/blue. It was a very good change and I would rate it a 4 out of 5. It was also very simple to install (maybe 3 minutes). I paid $29 plus shipping. Here is the guy that I got them from: http://stores.ebay.com/Bulb-Kits_W0Q...eNameZl2QQtZkm

2) I bought LED bulbs to replace all 168 and 194 bulbs. After research I decided on a WHITE Inverted Cone Wedge LED (based on fairly aquarate light disbursement). I also got these off ebay and I paid $3.99 plus shipping per pair. I got a pair for my Clearance lights and my Clear Corner lights and my License Plate lights. I would have to say that I am most impressed with the License Plate lights (it looks great from the rear with white lights and LED taillights). I would rate this upgrade a 4 out of 5 also. It was extremely easy, quick and good value. Here is the guy I bought these from: http://stores.ebay.com/Velocity-leds...eNameZl2QQtZkm

3) I also bought the Sylvania Silverstars off eBay for $30, but have not received them yet. Therefore, the picture below includes everything except for the upgraded Fog/High Beam bulbs.

Here is the image (or link to image), I am not sure how exactly to post pics yet. Sorry:

I have received so much help from this Forum and I just want to thank everyone for all of their input. I will try to do my part whenever I think I have something of interest.

Thanks again!

^Hey that looks really good!

I'm wondering if These will look good in the clear corners or not.

The interior light kit looks pretty tempting too.

OEM HIDs

After reading this thread over and over for 3 days, I conclude that happiest people that wanted to match their fogs, clearence and side marker bulbs to the stock HIDs went with the following:

Fogs (H4) - Catz Agua white.
Clearence and side markers(198)- PIAA Extreme white, or PIAA LED white/white.
But some people complained that PIAAs are little bluer than the HIDs, has anyone found a better match then above? Perhaps PIAA super white, or plazma?

The catz were back ordered as of last week. I had super plasmas in my 2k2 max. I wonder if any has these? Any super plasma owners?

Gspotter and 6969g35 have the Super Plasmas GTX in the fogs. The Silverstars aren't a perfect match, I liked them but honestly there's better stuff out there for the money.

This is my car with 6LED in the sidemarker and clearance strip (a little brighter and bluer than the PIAA white/white)

And this is with 6LED in the clearance strip and PIAA Super White in the sidemarker

I got rid of both and am now running 9LEDs, superbright and a nice blue color, I love the contrast with the headlights at night.

The pic you quoted isn't of the 6 or 9 LEDs, those are just PIAA Super Whites (non-LED), you can get them here. If you want the 6 or 9 LEDs, you can get them from superbrightleds.com. They look a LOT bluer than the Super Whites and the light is more directional rather than dispersed like with the Super Whites. I'll post some pics of my 9LEDs when I get a chance to.

I was curious how much it would cost or if it is even possible to change the lights on our g35 to the ones on the m35. I'm not sure what you call them but the ones where it shows you where your turning. Is this possible and why hasn't anybody done it? Thanks
