Re: Lights - the final answer!
hmmmmmm........after reading this WHOLE thread, i've come to the conclusion that the piaa wedge bulbs don't work because they do not emit light forwards. so for the clearnace lights what must we get to get that "filled in" look for our clearnace lights??? thanks guys!~
and i have the piaa xtreme in the clearance and corners....and one clearnace side looks bluer then then the other.....-.- but can't expect much for 11 dollar bulbs.
i love to play with my Stick~

Re: Lights - the final answer!
These are the PIAA LED Wedge bulbs, white/white... they fit fine in the corner lights but in the clearance they're a little snug and seem like they may fall out... but they look pretty good... haven't had a problem as of yet and i've hit quite a few bumps since they were installed... and i have the stiffer suspension and 19s...

i want my clearance like yours
hey man, can you post a pic of your ride with and without the blue and bright white bulbs on your clearance lights? i was told that if the clearance is replaced with a bright white bulb, it will actually look blue and real blue obviously with a blue bulb. what im wondering is, how blue do they look with the bright white bulb and what bulb is it that you are using. lastly, please tell me how to replace the clearance bulbs. i hope i dont have to jack up my car and get into it through the plastic panel. i just replaced with 6000K and silverstars for fogs. i would hate to do it all over again to change the clearance. anyway, thanks and please let me know what white/blue bulbs you used. thanks RX

I am more confused then ever after sifting thru this thread.. mostly because pics no longer work ;/
Going back to first post of this thread...
Want a blue hue for lights number 1,2. I have heard 6000k is good without sacrificing too much lighting on the road. Phillips 6000k d2r? Very confused, what about matching fogs for this?
Any and all help appreciated..

for new 05 G owners, this thread kinda sucks for us cause all the pictures are dead now.
For those that have already changed their clearance, highs, and corners.... what is the best setup to achieve the all white look. I prefer all white rather than hints of blue.
clearance and corner - Piaa Extreme wedge Led 19263?
high beam - Piaa Super extreme whites 15260?
would you go with led or regular bulbs?
will these give that all white look... please post pics.

I'm also using the PIAA Extreme White LEDs for my clearance lights. Those look pretty good although I think they could me brighter. I'm still waiting on my clear corners so when they arrive, I have the Extreme Whites waiting.
Prior to doing my install, I was very nervous as the task looked very difficult. I spent hours searching directions. I found many helpful hints and I've thrown together a small web page that can hopefully assist others who undertake this upgrade. You can find it here:

is there a way to change the clearance bulbs without having to pry away the fender? i know i wasnt able to go through the hood when i replaced my headlight bulbs with 6500's but is there a way throught the hood for the clearance strips? im gonna replace my strip light with the PIAA Super LED high intesity Blue white bulbs. wish i would have done the heads and the strips at the same time. why they make this so damn hard? its really a bitch to do this.
