When I roll my driver side window down it squeaks as it slides down the inside door weatherstrip. My windows are tinted, but they have been for over a year and it just started to squeak recently. I can spray water on it and it stops. It's like the weatherstrip got too tight all of a sudden. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas? I'm sure the dealership would tell me it's because of the tint.

 

Weird, mine started to squeak this week if the car when I leave it out in the parking lot also, but after a while it stops. Maybe the heat has domething to do with it. I've only had my G35 for 6 months.

 

Maybe so, but the passenger side doesn't do it...?? May just be a Dallas thing!

mine squeaked, then my window motor started acting up. Got it replaced, stopped squeaking for a week, and then it started again....

ill get the dealer to look at it at my next visit


my sunroof makes a nasty squeek to, every time i tilt it. Pretty annoying.

 

I had a similar problem, windows are also tinted. The dealer replaced the motor and regulator with no hassles. No squeaking now, but its only been a few weeks. Just take it to the dealer, the tint shouldn't void your warranty.
